NEWS ITEMS:
Election Day will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Moffat's election will once again be conducted via mail ballot which gives voters the convenience of casting their ballots securely through the U.S. postal service.
Multiple trustee vacancies and the Mayor's seat will be up for re-election.
Eligible candidates must be citizens of the United States, a registered voter at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the Town of Moffat for at least one year immediately preceding the election.
Candidate nomination packets will be available beginning February 13th. Last day to circulate petitions is March 2nd.

Community Center Rehabilitation & Preservation continues on Moffat's
historic church. Once completed, Moffat will have a new community center and a town hall. To date the town has been awarded approximately $450,000 in grant funds through the following:
Colorado's State HIstoric Fund
Department of Local Affairs
National Trust for Historic Preservation
Community Center Committee
Private Donations
Additional grant monies are currently being sought to complete final phases of the interior's rehabilitation.
